    PD10R Standard Retrofit Copper Snow Guards

    Fits slate 16" - 20" in length.

    Pad area is 2 3/8"L x 2 3/8"W (at widest point) x 1 7/16"H.

    Standard strap length is 13 5/8" (custom lengths available).

    Standard hook height is 1 1/4" (custom heights available).

    This snow guard has a 12.25 inch "reach." When you slide it underneath your slate, it can only go 12 1/4." The head of the slate you're hooking over needs to be in that range.

    Our riveted "fish head" design means optimum strength with no risk of unfolding. Thin, durable strap with tab hook minimizes disruption of slate/shingle pattern. When you hook the snow guard over the top of the slates, you can maintain a uniform pattern even on random width roofs.

    Easily installs by pushing up underneath the slates using a "slate ripper" or similar tool. Just slide under the overlying course and pull down to engage the tab. No need for nail hangers. 

    For new construction, use the nail application PD10.

    Berger Pro 100 Retrofit Snow Guard

    The heavy-duty Berger Pro 100 snow guard is compatible with corrugatedflatnatural slate, TruSlate, and asphalt shingled roofs. This snow guard provides fast installation and is ideal for existing roofs.  

    The superior design of the Pro 100 includes a one-inch gusset that reinforces the shoe, which makes this snow guard 5 times stronger than traditional residential snow guards. The Pro 100 has been tested to withstand a 300 lb. point load at any location when applied to the gusset side of the shoe. Simply insert the slotted bar under the slate or shingle, engage a nail with one of the conveniently placed slots, and pull to fully secure the bar.
