20" Stortz Model 85A Straight Slaters Stake. This is a traditional steel slater's stake to be used in conjunction with traditional slate hammers for trimming heavier slates on site, or for shaping slates. 2.2 lbs., 20" wide X 8" high, 1.25" X 1/4" bar stock.

When cutting standard thickness slates you can also use a Slate Cutter.
