Sievert PSI 3380 Portable Soldering Iron Kit: This convenient, hand-held soldering iron is powered by a gas canister in the handle. No tanks, hoses or electrical wires are needed. It comes with a sheet metal carrying case that holds the iron and two canisters.

OPTIONS (select below):

(a) Kit with 8-ounce Copper Hammer Bit #7002-50. This is the standard bit that comes with the kit.

(b) Add the 8.5-ounce Pyramid Bit #7002-45. Have both bits. They're easy to swap out!

Each Gas canister lasts about an hour. The gas is a blend of Propane, Butane, Acetone and Propene. It achieves a flame temperature of more than 2100 degrees Celsius! Simply screw the canister into the threaded fitting inside the handle to install.

The handle is ergonomically designed for comfort. It has an automatic piezo ignition button (no need for matches) and a gas control valve. The flame is totally encased and windproof. The lightweight tool is made with titanium and aluminum. Anti-flare enables the tool to work in all positions (360 degrees).
