These nails are made from highly corrosion-resistant type-304 stainless steel for outstanding rust protection. 10-gauge, 3/8" head. Shank diameter is 0.134". Made in the USA.
Ring shank nails are NOT to be used to nail slate shingles (use smooth shank). Good for installation of asphalt and architectural shingles, and cedar roof shingles. Maximum corrosion resistance in harsh environmental conditions.
Also available in T-316 stainless steel upon request, 100 lbs minimum.
Ring barb shanks offer greater holding power in extreme weather climates. Available with or without rubber washers. Manufactured with large slating heads & diamond points.
Also available in smooth shanks.

- ShortApr 22, 2023, 10:13 AMSRW has the best prices around and shipping was quick. I usually use smooth shank copper for slating, due to easier repairs and replacements, but this time I am installing Ludowici tiles in a high wind zone, so I will need the extra pull out strength of the ring shank and stronger head of the SS. Future repairs and replacements will be more difficult as the SS is much stiffer than the copper.
