Alpine Fusion Guard Hybrid Snow Guard

Available in copper or cold-rolled galvanized powder-coated steel.

The strap is 18" long, but also available in multiple lengths to accommodate various roofing materials as well as retrofit applications. It is a retrofit style snow guard (they can be installed on existing roofs), or they can be installed on new roofs. See supporting documents below for measurements and installation instructions. Stiffening ribs on the front of the snow guard add rigidity and strength.

Ideal for residential customers who don't want the look of a pipe-style system on their roof, but want to be able to add horizontal rods to their snow guards should they be needed. Protects against snow damage to gutters, valleys, crickets, roof protrusions, plumbing vents, cars, people, landscaping, pets, walkways, ground-mounted mechanical units, and so on.

Rods and rod clamps are optional and are sold separately.

The Snow Bird Hybrid Snow Guard is a retrofit snow guard that can be used on new roofs or existing roofs. Available in Copper-Plated Stainless Steel, or Galvanized Steel (Mill Finish or Powder Coated Dark Bronze).

The Snow Bird Hybrid Snow Guard allows you to add optional 3/8" solid horizontal rods during or after the install. Rods are not needed for the snow guards to work.

Sieger 3-Pipe Snow Rail Brackets for roofs are available in bronze, aluminum, or galvanized iron. This is the heavy-duty pipe bracket only. This guard uses three 1/2" diameter pipes or solid bars, which are not included.

5½" high, 3" wide at base, 14" long with strap, 3/16" x 1" strap. 

BRACKETS SHOULD BE PLACED NO MORE THAN 3' APART FOR IRON OR BRONZE, AND 2' APART FOR ALUMINUM 

Buy heavy-duty "Type K" copper pipe through your plumbing supply outlets in 10' or 20' lengths, or use solid 1/2" copper or brass rods. Copper pipes should be soldered together with couplings using a plumber's torch, wire solder, and paste or liquid flux. For aluminum brackets, use stainless steel pipe.   

Sieger 2-Pipe Standing Seam Snow Rail Brackets for roofs are 5 3/8" wide overall and stand 3 1/4" high off the roof. These brackets are part of an affordable lifetime snow rail system. Six stainless steel set screws are included with every bracket and are compatible with any standing seam metal roofing type. Requires an 1/8" Allen wrench for installation.        

We sell the Brackets only: rails (pipes) must be bought separately. For bronze brackets, ask for 1/2" "Type K" copper pipe at your local plumbing or welding supply store, or use solid 1/2" copper or brass rods. Copper pipes can be soldered together with couplings. For aluminum brackets, use stainless steel pipe.  

For Snap Lock standing seam metal roofing, look for the "SL" in the product code. These slots are tapered to accommodate Snap Lock standing seams.

Sieger aluminum snow guards can be painted. There is a minimum order of (200) snow guards for painting. They are not powder coated, they are painted for an additional $5.00 per snow guard. If you're not in a hurry and you want to order less than 200, we will hold your order until we have another paint job of the same color, then paint them at that time. It may be a few weeks wait. Berger E-Rail aluminum snow rail bracket for standing seam roofs is available in mill finish or with a black Epoxy Primer. This is a 1 or 2-rail moderate snow load system that is strong and light offering between the seams protection on metal roofs. It helps to control the possibility of dangerous ice slides, requiring no penetration of the roof. This system is easy to install and uses a 7/32 Allen wrench. Watch the video below to see how to install the brackets. The brackets weigh 0.6 lbs each.

The E-Casting is designed to accommodate a seam of up to ½" (0.516”) thick and up to two inches (2") high. 

Self-Tapping Screws – #8 x 0.5” (stainless steel) are included with the rails (keeps the 20' rails from sliding sideways).

Berger F-Rail aluminum snow rail brackets for standing seam roofs are available in mill finish or with a black epoxy primer. The Berger F-Casting is a device designed to be used with tubing to create a rail system for the prevention of damage caused by the sliding of snow and ice on standing seam metal roofs.  

This system uses 2 or 3 rails for heavier snow loads. It functions below and above the standing seams, requiring no roof penetration. This system is easy to install and uses a 7/32 Allen wrench. Watch the video below to see how to install the brackets. The brackets weigh 1.4 lbs each.

The F-Casting is designed to accommodate a seam of up to ½" (0.516") thick and up to two inches (2") high.

Mullane 500 3-Pipe Bronze/Brass Snow Rail Bracket

The Mullane 500 is a super heavy-duty copper/brass snow rail system used mostly on institutional buildings, government buildings, churches, college dormitories, and anywhere a high liability from falling ice and snow exists. 

The plates are made to fit the size of the slate on your roof. Common sizes are shown below, but call us at 814-786-9085 or email us for other sizes and shipping costs. This is a special order item that requires a lead time and is non-returnable and non-refundable. Larger orders are eligible for free shipping. 

Install snow fence brackets parallel to the eaves, spacing the brackets from 24" to no more than 48" apart, depending upon the pitch of the roof and the anticipated snow load. Install brackets approximately 24" to 36" from the roof edge.  

The Model #500 Snow Fence Bracket is cast from solid bronze and is mounted to a solid brass plate for lifetime durability. The castings have been carefully engineered to assure maximum strength at the points of greatest stress when under load. Double back brace brackets are standard and give redundant protection against casting failure when under load. Holes for rails are 1.125" to accommodate 1" (O.D.) brass pipe. The brackets are adjustable to three angles: 90, 67.5, and 45 degrees. The base plate is 1/8" 220 bronze. 

Model #500 is typically installed along the perimeter of slate roofs with rafters up to 25 ft. in areas with moderate to high snowfalls. For longer rafter lengths use additional snow rails. Model #500 is a custom order and the base plate can be fabricated to any specified size. We have too many standard sizes to list them all here, so if you need a plate size that is not listed, we probably have it available. Look at the image of the plate size list.

Mullane Fitrite 521/531 Aluminum Snow Rail Brackets for Spanish Tile roofs.

Select for 2 or 3 pipes and shorter or longer Spanish tiles below. The long and short brackets match the Ludowici short and long Spanish tiles: Spanish 13, and Spanish 18.
