Berger AP400/516 Snow Guards

Berger AP400 and AP516 snow guards are non-penetrating mill finish aluminum devices that have been engineered specifically for use with more popular structural and non-structural pre-formed and architectural metal roof systems. They're secured without glues or sealants, utilizing custom-milled stainless-steel set screws to clamp them in place. They're produced in cast aluminum and are available in two different seam widths and heights, and can be custom painted (see below).

AP400: Seams up to 3/8" thick & 1 1/2" high.

AP516: Seams up to 1/2" thick & 1 1/2" high.

These snow guards do not restrict thermal movement. The deep throats permit them to be secured directly without damaging caps or compressing internal gasketing or sealant pockets. The 6" wide, deep blade design makes it particularly effective in retaining snow with the higher seams and wider panel widths common in pre-formed architectural roofing.

AP400M/AP516M: Mill Finished Cast Aluminum. "Mill finish" is the natural appearance of aluminum as it comes from the rolling mill or the extrusion mill. It is "as is" with no external mechanical or chemical finishing. $37.00

AP400E/AP516E: Medium Gloss Black E-Coat Epoxy Primer - requires a final color coat after purchase. $41.00

AP400C/AP516C: Powder coated in your choice of 9 custom colors; Matte Black, Colonial Red, Dark Bronze, Forest Green, Hartford Green, Medium Bronze, Mansard Brown, Charcoal Gray, Slate Gray (see color chart below). Powder coating requires a 3-week lead time. Please provide the color choice in the customer notes when placing your order (no cancellations or returns on powder-coated snow guards). $47.00
