These are screw type snow guards for flat roofs. Two mounting holes. 2 5/8" long base, 5 1/2" wing span width, 4" high. Comes with two fasteners per snow guard.

Jalco Aluminum Snow Guards for corrugated metal roofs are designed to prevent snow slides.

Two mounting holes. 2" long base by 2 1/2" wide, 5 3/8" overall width, 2 1/2" high, 4.0 oz. Comes with (2) 2 1/4" fasteners per snow guard. Also use a high strength adhesive sealant.

If you want to paint your own Jalco snow guards:

1) Clean with paint thinner to get the dirt off.
2) Prime with a self-etching aluminum primer available at automotive supply stores.
3) Use a Rustoleum type paint.
4) Dip the snow guards in the paint and let the excess run off.
5) Alternatively, use spray paint.

Jalco Snow Guards are designed to prevent snow slides. After years of installing slate roofs with steel snow guards - resulting in rust trails going down the roofs, John Kleckner designed aluminum snow guards to eliminate this unsightly problem. In 1958 he came out with what was arguably the first aluminum snow guard. Jalco aluminum snow guard castings are made with at least 50% recycled aluminum.

Jalco TR-Eagle Strap Aluminum Snow Guards, for slate roofs and asphalt shingle roofs. Heavy aluminum strap with three mounting holes. 9.5" long overall, 4 3/4" wing span width, 4.5" high, 9.8 oz.

This is a solid snow guard with a full Eagle figure on both the front and the back of the snow guard (not hollow on the back side).
